Printmaker

I cannot recall ever not wanting to be an artist. A love of drawing, appreciation for the beauty of line, and a lot of encouragement propelled me toward a career as an original printmaker. Awards, certificates, and purchases from museums and collectors have reinforced and sustained my purpose.

Living in the Tennessee River Valley has left a nature-sensitive impression on my etchings. I am inspired by the natural flora and most recently by the larger aquatic birds that winter along the Tennessee River.

My etchings are printed by hand on 100 percent cotton paper that, with proper care, will become family heirlooms.

I attended Pratt Institute and completed a BFA in drawing and printmaking at the University of Central Florida. Graduate studies were done in England and Italy.
